In the Outer Banks, Sanctuary means good wine. John Wright is making a name for himself with his award winning varietals. Favorites to try are Whalehead White (semi-dry), The Lightkeeper (sweet red) and Blackberry wine made from pure nectar. It is all pure heaven.
It has been my dream to see the wild horses for years on the beach and I finally did in October. A shout out goes to our extraordinary guide, photog and writer, Jared Lloyd, who knew just where to find our 4-legged friends. Go to www.visitcurrituck.com for more info and click on above site for more on horses.
Jane Seymour was busy at the High Point Furniture Market where she has her designs in the Amini showroom in the IHFC building. She is not only talented but one of the most gracious people I have ever been privileged to meet Her touch was throughout the showroom and shows her passion and talent.
Here I am in the land of Jimmy Carter, Plains, GA. Downtown consists of about 4 stores and that's it. Great peanut butter ice cream there and worth the trip to the Jimmy Carter Center, also in Plains. The old homes and churches were post card pretty.
